Brad Johnson is the Executive Director of the Texas Center for Legal Ethics. He previously served as In-House Legal Counsel, as Disciplinary Rules and Referenda Attorney, and as an Ethics Attorney at the State Bar of Texas. His professional background also includes work as an attorney at the Texas Ethics Commission, at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, and for other public agencies, as well as in private practice. Johnson received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University School of Law. In addition to his work in the area of legal ethics, he has practiced extensively in the areas of governmental ethics, employment law, and contracts. Johnson has received two State Bar of Texas Presidential Citations.
