    The 2013 Morris Harrell Professionalism Award will be presented to Kim J Askew on November 1, 2013 by the Dallas Bar Association and The Texas Center for Legal Ethics. Ms. Askew is a partner at K&L Gates in Dallas.
  3. TCLE Trustee Kem Frost Named Court of Appeals Chief

    Kem Frost, a member of the Texas Center for Legal Ethics Board of Trustees, was recently appointed by Governor Perry as Chief Justice of the 14th Court of Appeals in Houston. Justice Frost has served on the Board since June 2013.

    Judge Patrick Higginbotham of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit and Dallas attorney Nina Cortell of Haynes and Boone were honored as the 2013 recipients of the Chief Justice Jack Pope Professionalism Awards at the 18th Annual John Hemphill Dinner on June 14 in Austin.

    The Texas Center for Legal Ethics (TCLE) is proud to announce that Judge Patrick Higginbotham of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit and Dallas attorney Nina Cortell of Haynes and Boone are being honored as the 2013 recipients of the Chief Justice Jack Pope Professionalism Awards.

    The upcoming Justice James A. Baker Guide to the Basics of Law Practice live course in Houston is this Friday April 19, 2013 at the South Texas College of Law located at 1303 San Jacinto. Walk-in registration will be accepted as space permits. Parking is available in the Fannin Garage at 1112 Clay Street (between Fannin & San Jacinto). Check-in and registration begin at 7:30 a.m.
