Hon. Titiana D. Frausto is judge the 181st Judicial District Court in Potter and Randall counties. Judge Frausto is a Louisiana native. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of New Orleans before making her way to West Texas to attend law school at Texas Tech University School of Law where she received her Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 2009. Judge Frausto spent the first 11 years of her practice focusing primarily in the areas of criminal defense and family Law. She was appointed to the 181st District Court by Governor Greg Abbott in September 2020. The 181st District Court is a court of general jurisdiction. She also serves as the Local Administrative Judge for Randall County.
Judge Frausto is very active in both state and local non-profit organizations. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and its Family Law and Judicial Sections, the Texas Judicial Council, Subcommittee Vice-Chair, the Texas State Bar Pattern Jury Charges, Oversight Committee, the Texas Center for Legal Ethics Board of Trustees, Texas Center for the Judiciary Curriculum Committee, the Texas Bar Foundation, and a member of the Texas Bar College. Judge Frausto has served as faculty for numerous State Bar Continuing Education courses. She is also a former panel member of the State Bar District 13 Grievance Committee. Locally, she is a member of the Amarillo Area Bar Association, and the Panhandle Family Law Association. She is a board member of the Amarillo College Foundation, the Downtown Women’s Center, and the Northside Toy Drive.
