Jason Panzer

Jason Panzer is an Austin attorney and a partner in Herring & Panzer, L.L.P. His practice focuses on the “law of lawyering,” including legal ethics, attorney discipline and licensure, and disputes arising from attorney-client relationships. He has spent much of his career litigating professional-liability matters, representing lawyers and law firms in disciplinary and litigation matters, and advising attorneys and firms on ethical and risk-management issues.

Jason is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education programs on legal ethics and issues affecting the practice of law. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas School of Law.

Jason is coauthor with Charles Herring, Jr., of Texas Legal Malpractice & Lawyer Discipline, and the Texas Guide to Lawyer Disqualification. A 1996 Honors graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, Jason began his legal career as a briefing attorney for the Texas Third Court of Appeals.
