Linda Acevedo

Prior to her retirement from the State Bar of Texas in 2019, Linda Acevedo was employed by the State Bar for more than 30 years. From 2009 to 2019, Linda served as Chief Disciplinary Counsel, and, before that, she served as corporate counsel, counsel to the local grievance committee, trial counsel, appellate counsel, and First Assistant Disciplinary Counsel. During her State Bar tenure, Linda served as liaison to the Professional Ethics Committee and the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee, which are each appointed by the Supreme Court of Texas.
