Rich Soule

Rich Soule is Director of Consulting Services at Talan, where he helps clients solve complex business and technology challenges, with a particular focus on data access and systems integration. He brings over 35 years of experience in information systems, including 15 years at Oracle Corporation, where he held senior technical and consulting roles.

Rich began his career in the U.S. Air Force, serving five years in Okinawa, Japan, in secure communications while holding a top-secret clearance. Following his military service, he led BMW's International and Diplomatic Sales division in Okinawa before returning to the U.S. to study computer science.

He has held leadership positions in the technology consulting field since the early 2000s and is a recognized speaker at national and international technology conferences. He has also taught Oracle technology courses at Austin Community College, combining his passion for teaching with a lifelong commitment to professional development.

Rich resides in Austin, Texas, with his wife, Stacey Soule. Together, they are active in the legal and civic communities. They also share a passion for high-performance driving and can often be found at Circuit of the Americas teaching people to drive their cars at speed on the track.
