    If you are a licensed attorney in Texas, call the Ethics Helpline at 800-532-3947. The Attorney Client Assistance Program (CAAP) is available for public assistance at 800-932-1900.

  3. Will the administrative suspension show on my record?

    The date of reinstatement will relate back to the date of the suspension if you take care of the suspension within 45 days.

  7. Is the Justice James A. Baker Guide to Ethics and Professionalism in Texas course approved in other states for CLE credit?

    The Justice James A. Baker Guide to Ethics and Professionalism in Texas course is pre-approved only in Texas.  You may apply for CLE credit in other states.  For the online course, a copy of the course description and speakers’ biographies is available.  We do not provide any other materials for the online course.  A copy of the Certificate of Completion can be found under the  “My Account” link once the course has been completed.  If you are attending the live course, you can request the Uniform Certificate of Attendance in person upon completion of the course.
