Awards

The Texas Center for Legal Ethics strives to acknowledge the many examples of professionalism among Texas’ lawyers and judges. Our Chief Justice Jack Pope Professionalism Award is presented annually to the Texas appellate lawyer and Texas appellate judge who epitomizes the highest level of professionalism and integrity. The award honors one of the Center’s three founders, former Texas Supreme Court Chief Justice Jack Pope, who was the recipient of the inaugural Pope Award in 2009.

In addition to the Pope Award, TCLE publicizes and acknowledges recipients of local and specialty bar association professionalism awards. If your bar association recognizes outstanding professionalism, please let us know so we can give your honorees the pat on the back they richly deserve.
